Week 4 Inspiration

I really want to do a lot more analog "stuff" this week- but I do want to try to keep the posters relatively simple. I love this posters because of the single-color backgrounds and the one/two object focus.

Week 4 Process

This week I am making posters for The Magic Numbers. I hope what I come up with is considered "random". I had no idea how difficult this system would be.

I plan on using this red umbrella I drew for one poster and I want to use the concept of a "magic-8 ball" for my other one.

3rd week posters

Here are this weeks dilatational posters and one revised radial poster (I do not know why both the Beck and 2nd Bats For Lashes posters are being stretched out...).

Process 3

Here is some what I've done for this set of posters. I chose the band Bats for Lashes and I really wanted to use hand-drawn type.

Inspiration 3

Here are some images that are currently inspiring. I love the hand-drawn lettering on the right image. I am going to create my own type this week- at least for one of the posters. I like the simplicity of the left poster. I am really drawn to line right now.

Second Set

Here are the final posters for this week. They printed out very pixelated and I'm not sure why the pdf version of the first one looks so pixelated online. Ugh.
